With locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Adelaide, and strong growth plans nationwide, we are transforming the way people with disabilities think about their housing options.The RoleAs an Accounts Receivable Officer : SDA Revenue, you will play a crucial role in managing SDA payment claims and Assistive Technology claims through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Reporting to senior management, you will collaborate closely with our tenancy team to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims, reconciliation of accounts, and resolution of discrepancies. Experience dealing with the agency as well as experience working with NDIS-managed funding / direct contact with NDIA is essential. This role needs that for the successful candidate to seamlessly hit the ground running. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process SDA claims through the government portal, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Monitor and reconcile SDA payment remittances and receipts within CX and Xero.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the tenancy team.Act as a point of contact for SDA payment and Assistive Technology claims, addressing administrative errors with the NDIAIssue SDA Quotes in coordination with the tenancy team.Perform bank reconciliations and other financial administrative tasks.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal financial policies. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable.Accounting qualifications : TAFE certification or higherStrong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles.Proficiency in Xero and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).A basic understanding of business law and credit principlesKnowledge of the NDIS claiming process (preferred).Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong organisational and time management abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
