Above-award salary + salary packaging + 9-day fortnight + genuine flexibility
We’re proud to be partnering with our client Metro Housing - a highly regarded community housing provider that is truly making a difference. Known for their supportive team culture, strong values and commitment to people, this organisation delivers safe, secure and sustainable housing to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Based in the vibrant and well-connected Newtown area, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a Housing Officer role where your work will have real impact every day.
This is more than just a tenancy management role â it’s an opportunity to support people to build stability and independence.
You’ll manage your own portfolio and be a key point of contact for tenants, delivering responsive, respectful and person-centred services. You’ll work closely with tenants, support partners and community organisations to help individuals sustain their housing and improve their long-term wellbeing.
What really sets this role apart is the flexibility. The organisation genuinely understands that life doesn’t always fit into a 9â5 â whether you’re balancing school hours, family commitments or personal priorities, they’re open to finding a structure that works.
They also work a 35 hour week and 9-day fortnight.
You’re someone who genuinely cares about people and brings a calm, solutions-focused approach to your work.
You might already have experience in community or social housing, or come from a human services background and be looking to move into the sector. Either way, you’re confident managing competing priorities, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and navigating complex situations with empathy and professionalism.
