We are supporting our long-term client, WorkVentures, in their search for a Junior Cyber Security Consultant to join their growing Cyber team.

The Role:
This is a permanent junior cyber security consulting role supporting assessments, project coordination, and client engagement for Not-for-Profit organisations across Australia.
Suited to someone early in their cyber career, the role requires strong organisational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to translate cyber security concepts into practical actions for resource-constrained environments.
The role has a strong focus on supporting the Technology-Facilitated Abuse (TFA) project and organisations working with vulnerable communities, and is consulting-focused across risk, governance, incident readiness, awareness, and delivery quality. This is not a SOC, penetration testing, or engineering role.

As the cyber function grows, you’ll also contribute to process improvement, templates, reporting and future Cyber Cadet programs.
We’re looking for someone who has 1 - 3 years’ experience (or equivalent via study, placements, or certifications), is highly organised, communicates proactively, writes clearly, and enjoys working with non-technical stakeholders. You should have a genuine interest in mission-driven, Not-for-Profit work and be comfortable developing expertise in Technology-Facilitated Abuse (TFA) in sensitive, survivor-centred contexts.

Salary for this position is within a range of $65,000 - $75,000 + superannuation + salary packaging benefits.
