About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this interim role is designed to provide immediate, practical support during a period of change in the finance team. You’ll focus on budget loading, analytics, financial modelling, and forecasting - freeing up capacity for strategic priorities and helping embed new structures and systems.

The focus is not on financial reporting, cash management, or recharge processes. Instead, it’s about rolling up your sleeves to run models in spreadsheets, prepare long-term forecasts, and deliver the "heavy lifting" financial analysis that will guide decision-making.

You will also play a key role in supporting the transition to a new Senior Financial Analyst joining the team, and in preparing for the implementation of a new finance system.

  • Load and manage budgets in line with organisational timelines
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis on key business drivers
  • Provide high-quality financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with the CFO and new Senior Financial Analyst during the handover and transition period

About You

You’ll be an experienced finance professional with strong modelling and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role. You are equally comfortable deep-diving into spreadsheets as you are working collaboratively with senior leaders.

What You’ll Bring

  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and long-term forecasting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (comfortable with building and running complex models)
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to deliver under tight timeframes
  • Experience in not-for-profit, community housing, or similar sectors will be highly regarded

Why Join This Organisation?
This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation during a pivotal period. You’ll be part of a committed, values-led team working to improve housing outcomes for women in need - and your work will directly shape our ability to plan and grow.
