Training Product Project Manager

This role involves working closely with industry stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and ensuring training materials align with national standards. To be successful you will have previous experience working within VET (preferably with post grade qualifications and 5-10 years’ experience in the sector). You will be someone with experience across project management and learning resource development, with a strong understanding of how products are developed in the back end.Some Key Responsibilities:Develop, update, and quality assure nationally endorsed vocational education and training (VET) products in collaboration with industry stakeholders.Facilitate workshops (online and in-person) to conduct functional analyses and create training products, including qualifications, units of competency, and assessment materials.Lead multiple small project teams, managing 3–4 projects simultaneously.Present draft products and implementation strategies to various audiences, building consensus through stakeholder negotiation.Ensure compliance with governance and consultation processes, preparing reports and submissions for final approvals.Adhere to work health, safety, and wellbeing policies.About You:Industry Knowledge: Understanding of HumanAbility’s sectors and workforce development challenges, or the ability to acquire this quickly.Technical Expertise: Experience in developing nationally endorsed training products and strong knowledge of national VET policy and the Training Package Organising Framework.Project Management Skills: Ability to manage complex work programs in a project-based environmentStakeholder Engagement: Sound relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.Problem Solving and Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to problem solve and negotiate with all levels within the organisation.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Digital Proficiency: High-level IT skills in content management, CRM, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.Qualifications: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and/or a relevant higher education qualification. Why Join the team at HumanAbility?Work with a values-driven team focused on education, inclusion, and innovation.Be part of a national initiative shaping Australia’s vocational education and training qualifications.Flexible work arrangements working anywhere within Australia and meaningful industry engagement. This is a full-time ongoing position to reflect availability of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) grant funding.All appointees must be willing to obtain a police check and Working with Children Check.This role will be required to undertake travel due to involvement in consultation workshops that are conducted nationally. There may be times when it is required to work outside normal business hours i.e. evenings and weekends to meet operational and/or stakeholder requirements, and dependent on work deliverables.Poaition Description AUD Sydney 2000
