Our client, HumanAbility, is a not-for-profit, industry owned and led organisation that is contracted by the federal government. It was established as a Jobs and Skills Council for the health, human services, sport & recreation, and early childhood industries to fulfil the requirements of the Jobs & Skills Councils, Strengthening Australia’s National Vocational Education and Training System program.
The Role
Are you passionate about fostering collaboration and engagement in the aged and disability services, children’s education and care, health and human services, and sport and recreation services sectors?
HumanAbility is seeking experienced Engagement Advisors to join their team. As an Engagement Advisor, you'll play a vital role in building out the depth of their understanding of a particular sector, the policy environment and workforce issues. You will be responsible for connecting to leaders and specialists across Australia in a particular sector, coordinating engagement opportunities, managing events, and ensuring effective consultation strategies.
With a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Business, or a related field (IAP2 training a plus), along with proven experience in one of the industries they represent (Aged Care, Disability Services, Children’s Education and Care, Health, Human (Community) Service or Sport and Recreation) along with stakeholder engagement, training or facilitation skills, you'll bring valuable expertise to the team.
Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, will ensure success in this role.
As a full-time, remote position located anywhere within Australia, and with regular travel involved for team meetings, stakeholder workshops, and industry events, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution as the team prepare the workforce in the largest section of the Australian economy for the future.
