Project Coordinator

Organisation: HumanAbility is a Jobs and Skills Council funded by the Australian Government Department of Employee and Workplace Relations, established to provide the care and support industries with strategic leadership to address skills and workforce challenges. HumanAbility’s purpose is to strengthen Australia’s National Vocational Education and Training System by driving skills and workforce development, and they play a key role in ensuring plans for workforces are responsive to the evolving needs of our sectors.Due to exciting and continued growth, HumanAbility are seeking a versatile and proactive Project Coordinator to join their supportive and collaborative team. Role Overview:The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting various teams at HumanAbility. This multifaceted position involves managing events, maintaining databases, providing exceptional customer service, and enhancing internal capacity. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute to the development of effective project management approaches and systems. Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive administration support to program and project teams, including planning, tracking, and ensuring project milestones are met.Assist in managing project documentation through platforms like Monday.com and develop resources to ensure smooth project execution.Collaborate with the communications team to support marketing and communications activities, including creating marketing materials and assisting with outreach initiatives.Assist in coordinating logistics for events such as workshops, conferences, and forums, ensuring all aspects of event planning and execution are well-organized and efficient.Manage and maintain registers, databases, and SharePoint libraries, including uploading files into the VET National Register and Gov Teams.Support the stakeholder engagement team in building and researching data on key stakeholders, organising meetings, preparing materials, and facilitating communication between internal and external parties.Collaborate with colleagues from various teams to ensure seamless project delivery and organizational effectiveness, sharing insights and contributing to the success of cross-functional initiatives. Technical Skills & Attributes:Qualification in business administration, project management, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience in project administration, event management, or marketing support.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience in the care and support sectors and/or vocational education and training is a plus. Applications:If you are a proactive and adaptable professional with a knack for keeping things on track and a passion for contributing to impactful initiatives, we encourage you to apply for this diverse and exciting role – Join the team at HumanAbility and make a real change.
