You must demonstrate resilience and commitment to the purpose and vision of the organisation.This RoleThis position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.We are seeking a highly skilled and culturally competent Service Delivery Manager to oversee the management of Aboriginal Housing in Batemans Bay. The role reports to the Chief Services Officer and leads a team of 2 Team Leaders, 2 Housing Officers and a cohort of Cadets working and training towards their Cert IV in Community Housing.The scope of the role includes; housing applications and allocations, tenancy management, support referrals and overseeing NCAT cases including rent arrears, tenant damage and termination of tenancies.ResponsibilitiesOversee the accurate and timely management of housing services and community engagement.Provide coaching, support and supervision to the tenancy teamManage team performance, recruitment, training, induction and wellbeingCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure KPI's are metAddress escalated complaints and resolve housing disputes and conflictsEnsure the culturally safe delivery of tenancy and community engagement practices.Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act and other regulatory requirements governing housing operations.Selection criteriaCert IV in Social Housing and/or or other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience OR a 4 year degree with minimal experience.An awareness of, or the ability to gain knowledge of the regulatory and compliance frameworks that SEARMS works within, particularly the Residential Tenancies Act and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
