Birribee are a community-driven organisation committed to providing safe, secure, and culturally appropriate housing for Aboriginal people to practice self-determination and meet their social, cultural and economic needs.

As the Team Leader of Tenancy Management at Birribee Housing, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a dedicated team focused on fostering social and emotional wellbeing through our housing solutions.

This is a fixed term contract based on approved funding until June 2025.

The Role:

Your primary purpose is to oversee the efficient and compassionate management of tenancies, driving the implementation of financial management programs and sustaining tenancies projects. By providing strategic leadership, you will contribute to the overall success of our mission, ensuring that our tenancy operations align with our commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and the holistic wellbeing of our community members. 

Role Highlights:

• Coordinate activities for a positive living environment.
• Manage finances, administration, and reporting.

Skills & Experience

• Certificate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
• It is highly desirable that the successful candidate for this role identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
• Proven experience in tenancy management, including team leadership and project management. 
• Strong financial management skills and experience in implementing programs to support tenants facing financial challenges. 

To be successful in this role, you must also be willing to undergo a police check and obtain a Working with Children Check.
