Based in Preston in Metro Melbourne, the team are now on the hunt for a Tenancy & Property Manager to join the team and manage the tenancy and housing functions for the teams housing stock. This role will involve completing, starting and ending tenancy processes, supporting with asset management & maintenance reporting, timely completion of rent reviews, effective complaint management handling and stakeholder engagement.The team are looking for someone who can bring new ideas - someone agile and eager, and with a high level of customer service. You will be dedicated and collaborative in your approach, striving to improve client outcomes and provide exceptional customer service.Role RequirementsProvide property and tenancy management functions for HHS managed housing stockManage Maintenance requests and undertake rental management activities across property maintenanceWork collaboratively with team members and community sector agencies to promote and educate on the needs of people who are homeless and experiencing housing stressWork accurately and efficiently across data collection and reporting Work collectively across tribunal hearings and conflict resolution practicesAbout YouAn empathetic approach focused on tenant well-being Experience working in the community service sector and/or real estate in tenancy and property managementWell-developed negotiation and conflict management skillsExperience working with internal and external stakeholders, support agencies and community groups to encourage community participation and improve outcomes for tenantsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA knowledge, understanding and empathy of the structural constructs of poverty and homelessnessA current Real Estate Agents certificate (desirable)Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)This role will be in the office 5 days a week for the probation period, based at the Preston office with occasional travel to other offices.To be successful in this role, you will have your drivers licence, and must also be willing to undergo a police check and obtain a Working with Children Check.Position Description AUDAustralia - VICMelbourne - All locationsCBD & Inner SuburbsPreston3072
